Welcome to Send the Light Ministries for the Filipino Children Foundation!

Vision Statement

To Establish a Mission Compound that provides an atmosphere of hope, love, and acceptance where individuals can reach their full potential in life.  Send the Light Foundation is committed to the promotion of the rights and welfare of the orphaned, abandoned, and neglected children by providing various programs and services relevant to the needs and based on the Word of God.

Mission

To establish a mission compound as funds are available in three stages:

• Priority No. 1 – Establish a Residential Center for the orphaned, abandoned and neglected children.
• Priority No. 2 – Establish a private school, specifically grade school and high school for the children in the center, and children in the surrounding community. Also, to provide college scholarships for the children in the Residential Center.
• Priority No. 3 – Establish a Church to provide a place of worship for the residents of the center and for the benefit of the residents of the surrounding community, and a Bible School with an accredited curriculum.

Goals

Provide and maintain a quality Residential Center for the temporary care and protection of children in an atmosphere of love and acceptance where individuals can reach their full potential for a wholesome and productive life.  A quality education is a goal for every child in the Center. Family reunification is a priority for every child and is pursued whenever possible. When reunification with a family member is not possible adoption and/or foster care must be sought in order to give every child a chance to live a normal life with a family that will love and care for them.

Send the Light Foundation specifically caters to admit both male and female children ages zero to seventeen who are orphaned and/or abandoned, surrendered and neglected by being unreasonably deprived of basic needs such as food, clothing, shelter, education, medical/dental and supervision by parents or guardians.

Geographical Coverage of Operation

Send the Light Foundation is committed to accommodate up to 50 children from Mabalacat, Angeles City, and the neighboring municipalities of the provinces of Pampanga, Tarlac, and Bulacan. Admission outside the said areas will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
